MISSION OBJECTIVES AND CORE VALUES

Our Mission

Experience

Our weekend services are designed to help you encounter the presence of God. They are a celebration of what God is doing in and through your life. We place a high priority on powerful worship, dynamic preaching and quality ministry to your entire family, especially your kids. Whether you’re new to church or you’ve gone to church your whole life, our Sunday gatherings are a place where you will experience God and come to know Him more.

Mobilize

Church is not about a building – it’s about people. The early church had no buildings, but believers met in small groups, often in homes. In small groups intimate relation- ships and true friendships are forged as we come closer to God together. Our small groups are a way to connect and grow with others who will be friends for life.

Belong

You have been created by God with a purpose to fulfill. Growth track is designed to help you make that discovery and step into your destiny. Every week we offer opportunities to attend growth track.

Empower

There is nothing more fulfilling than making a difference in other people’s lives. On the Nations Dream Team you will find some of the happiest people in the world who love and serve wholeheartedly. Through Dream Team we offer everyone the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to be a blessing both in the church and in the community.

Reach

One of the unique aspects of Nations Church is our global influence. We are constantly going out, winning the lost and sharing the love of Jesus at home and all over the world. We have local outreaches every week. We also take teams, organize missions’ trips, and offer unparalleled opportunities for training and mobilization in world missions.

Core Values

Evangelism

We are an evangelistic community! We believe every Christian is called to reach others with the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to reach out to as many people as possible as a Church with the life transforming truth of Jesus Christ.

5-Fold Ministry
We are a church community that intentionally operates in the apostolic 5-Fold offices as described in Ephesians Ch.4. You will see all FIVE offices (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) operating in our services and community on a regular basis to properly “equip the saints” and “build up the body” unto “maturity”.
Worship
We are a church that outwardly and joyfully celebrates the goodness of God. We seek to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth as we gather together as one in His name. We understand that God inhabits our worship and moves in the hearts of His people as we put our eyes and affections on Him. We worship the Lord with music, song, banners, dance, art and so many other ways to give Him glory. Hallelujah!
Discipleship
We believe that every follower of Jesus should strive to be more and more like Him. We emphasize learning and growing in the Word of God and living that out in every area of our lives. Discipleship is a lifelong process, and we are committed to that in every area of our life and Church.
Revival

Core to who we are as a church and movement is the recognition that we are in deep need of a Holy Spirit revival. We believe revival is when God encounters His people in a supernatural and extraordinary way that leads to repentance, deep spiritual hunger, and change. Nations church was born of revival. Our leadership are children of revival. We carry a legacy of revival and seek to impart it to the generations to come after us.

Our Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God

Reference: 2 Timothy 3:16,17

One God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

References: Isaiah 44:8; II Corinthians 13:14

The Father

Whose glory is so exceeding bright that mortal man cannot look upon His face and live, but whose heart was so filled with love and pity for His lost and sin- benighted children that He freely gave His only begotten Son to redeem and reconcile them unto Himself

References: Exodus 33:20; John 3:16

The Son

Co-existent and co-eternal with the Father, who, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary took upon Himself the form of man, bore our sins, carried our sorrows, and by the shedding of His precious blood upon the cross of Calvary, purchased redemption for all that would believe upon Him: then, bursting the bonds of death and hell rose from the grave and ascended on high leading captivity captive, that as the great mediator between God and man, He might stand at the right hand of the Father making intercession for those whom He laid down His life.

References: John 1:1-3; Job 38:4- 7; Matthew 1:23; Ephesians 2:18

The Holy Spirit

The third person of the Godhead, the Spirit of the Father shed abroad, omnipotent, omnipresent, performing an inexpressibly important mission upon earth, convicting of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, drawing sinners to the Savior, rebuking, pleading, searching, comforting, quickening, teaching, glorifying, baptizing and empowering from on high those who yield to His tender ministrations, preparing them for the great day of the Lord’s appearing.

References: 1 John 5:7; John 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19; Romans 8:11; John 16:7-14

Life has Worth
We believe that since mankind is created in God’s image, human life is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, from conception to the grave.

References: Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-14

Communion
We believe that Communion, when shared by believers, witnesses to the saving power of the gospel, to Christ’s presence in His church, and looks forward to His victorious return.

Reference: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement.

References: 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17

Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His Shed Blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry.

References: 1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 3:25,26

Evangelism

We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor.

References: Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15-18

Salvation

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We further believe in the keeping power of God.

References: Hebrews 9:22; Jude 24,25

Sanctification

We believe that sanctification, holiness and the overcoming life is God’s design for the Church, which is the Bride of Christ.

Reference: Ephesians 5:25-27

Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that marriage is a sacred institution established by God. Biblical marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for life and all sexual activity is to be confined to it.

References: Matthew 19:4-6, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18; Leviticus 18:1-30

Water Baptism
We believe that water baptism is for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is to be administered by immersion, thus bearing witness to the gospel of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection for us, and our own new life in Him.

References: Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries, and in the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

References: Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46; Acts 19:6; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11; Galatians 5:22,23

Jesus’ Dominion
We believe in Christ’s imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion.

References:Acts 1:8; Revelation 1:7; Daniel 7:14

Eternity
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment.
